The Ask:
The client ask was to create a book of quotes to commemorate the leadership of their Marketing VP who was moving to a new position. The recipient of this book would frequently use quotes to motivate their team and bring levity to stressful situations.
The Creative Solve:
Our solution was to design a custom coffee table book of quotes and hashtags collected from various team members. We began with a moodboard to establish a direction on the look and feel for this book. We landed on a typographic approach with a sprinkling of flat illustrations integrated in to add a playful aspect to the book. A color palette was selected to nod to the brands that this Marketing VP worked on (Eukanuba™ and Royal Canin®) without it being overtly branded.
